Training cancelled

Waterford Archery Club will have no training on the following dates,

Tuesday 20th & Friday 23rd of September due to the installation of retractable seating been installed in the Sports Hall at WIT Arena.

As this is a full weeks works there are no activities in the Sports Hall.

We will be back in the Witarena as normal on Tuesday 27th September from 7-9pm & Friday 30th September from 6-8pm.

New Venue!!

We at Waterford Archery Club are delighted to announce that from Tuesday the 13th of September 2016 we will be having our training sessions in the all new WIT Sports Campus at Carriganore, Waterford!

Training Sessions will be Tuesday evenings from 7pm until 9pm and Fridays from 6pm until 8pm.

Cork City Archery Club Series 6


Weldon to Cork City Archery Club on running day one of the Archery Ireland Series 6 event today.

Fabulous setup and some excellent shooting all round respective of how strong the wind was at times.

All archers competed well, our 2 young men Ethan & Aaron they competed well.

Ethan pushed hard all day shot some fabulous arrows sets him nicely for Sunday’s showdown.

Aaron got a great feel for the event shot some fabulous arrows, can feel happy with his overall performance and just enjoy Sunday’s events.

All Ireland Series Leg 6 Cork City Archery Club

All Ireland Series, Leg 6 held by Cork City Archery Club on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th August.

Waterford Archery Club will have 2 members attending the event this weekend.

Ethan OMahony started late in the Series and is working hard to make the cut for the final at the end of September.

Aaron Kelly will be attending for the first time and will be getting familiar for next seasons event.

Archery Youth Festival in Lilleshall, England

Ethan O’ Mahony, 15, from Tramore, a member of Waterford Archery Club is competing this week in the Archery Youth Festival in Lilleshall, England as part of the Archery Ireland Junior Squad.  Ethan has been a keen archer for many years and holds several Irish records.   This is his second year on the Irish Junior Squad, and this is  the first competition where he is representing Ireland abroad.  We would like to wish him and his team mates the best of luck.
